Retirement has changed, but retirement planning hasn't. It's imperative that today's practices evolve from a near singular focus on financial security to the new business of longevity planning.

What Drives Us
Rasmussen Advisors didn’t begin in a boardroom or a corner office. It’s story starts at a used car dealership in Rancho Cordova, California, where Founder Brian Rasmussen was working as a salesperson for Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
One day, his manager handed him a lead — a woman who needed a Spanish-speaking sales rep. On the day of the sale, the woman brought her daughter along, who happened to work for a major-financial firm. The daughter was impressed and soon after, the firm began aggressively recruiting Brian.
Upon entering the industry, Brian discovered the work of Dr. Joseph Coughlin and the MIT AgeLab. Coughlin’s research on longevity was fresh, groundbreaking, and as an outsider looking in, Brian was immediately captivated. He was saw the value in Coughlin’s research and began working toward developing business solutions.
This led to Brian, using his own health journey to experiment, developing an effective weight-loss and fitness protocol designed for retirees. After using it to help himself and members of his friends and family, he began working with clients to help them achieve results.
Today, Rasmussen Advisors is proud to be an industry leader by offering clinical-grade longevity planning alongside financial security as a part of our client experience and helping our clients live longer and with greater quality of life.
