Our Core Values:

Why we do what we do.

Our Mission

We believe financial advice should help our clients find ways to prosper in all aspects of life, and everything we do is meant to make that happen.

Honesty and Integrity are the foundation of our success — without trust of our clients, we have nothing.

When I was a new Financial Advisor at Edward Jones Investments, I came across the book “The Speed of Trust” and learned an important lesson:

When there’s trust, things move fast. When there’s no trust, things move slow.

I began to notice the differences in the quality of client relationships based on the speed of their decision making and the level of trust between us.

Trust, then, became my number one priority.

As a recent college grad, working at Enterprise Rent-a-Car, I adopted their corporate core value that personal honesty and integrity are the foundation of our success and I continued to live by that, as part of my personal & professional ethos.

We work to live.
We don’t live to work.

The truth is: I don’t value money, I value time and my freedom — and I want to be the kind of leader that doesn’t create a culture where life revolves around work and my employees are pressured to sacrifice their lives for my business.

As such, we work to live, we don’t live to work.

Our doors are always open.

Another Enterprise Rent-a-Car classic — and they meant it too.

I was welcome to walk into anybody else’s office anytime. Doors stayed open, figuratively always, and literally for the most part.

We carry that tradition forward for our clients because if they’re going to trust us with their life savings, then they might as well be trusting us with their entire life — and the least we can do is make them feel welcome to reach out anytime.

And we mean it too.

We want to make great products that solve problems and improve the lives of our customers.

I heard Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, say in an interview “…we believe that we’re on the face of the earth to make great products….”.

I was struck by hearing that.

I’ve always admired Apple, as a company, and hearing that helped influence my thinking and how I approach product development and how what I do, affects the lives of my clients.

We stand for innovation and we value simplicity over complexity.

As a child, I loved inventions — DaVinci’s creations fascinated me, as did the machines imagined by Jules Verne in books like “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea” — so developing an attitude of innovation was very natural for me.

However, in the financial services industry, complexity often dances with risk and so I tended toward more simple solutions and often tell clients “you don’t have to invest like a hero to achieve your financial goals”.

It made sense to combine them — looking to innovate while keeping it simple.

Our company is a fun and friendly place where teamwork rules.

I took this one from Enterprise but, in my defense, stock market downturns can be stressful and having a culture where the office vibes are fun and friendly —and a place where teamwork rules — is arguably a good thing.
